원래는 음악 스타트업을 차리기 위해 20대 초반에 프로그래머 한 명과 기획자 두 명과 함께 미국의 실리콘밸리로 떠났었다고 합니다. 일만 하러 가는 건 너무 재미없을 것 같아서 뉴욕에서 좀 놀다가 샌프란시스코에 들른 후, 실리콘밸리가 있는 산호세로 가기로 했었다고 합니다. 그러나 뉴욕에서 놀면서 돈을 너무 많이 쓴 다음 샌프란 시스코로 갔는데 이미 도착해있어야 하는 기획서가 아무리 기다려도 오지 않았다고 합니다. 한국 있는 디자이너 친구들이 보내주기로 했던 한 명은 잠수를 아버지로 한 명과는 연락이 닿지 않았다고 합니다. 기획서를 받고 에인절 투자자들을 만나 멋있게 보여줄 계획이었으나 모든 게 물거품이 되어 버린 것입니다. 결국 집세도 내지 못할 정도록 힘든 상황이 되자 차를 타고 한 달 동안 노숙생활을 했다고 하며 그때 음악을 시작하게 됐다고 합니다. 진짜 무슨 영화 같은 스토리입니다.
